Space is limited, so registration is required for all programs.  Registration begins on June 24 - stop in, call 286-4902, or email mtimby@nioga.org to sign up.  All programs are free and sponsored by the Friends of the Library.  Additional support provided by LTSA Federal funds and the Grigg-Lewis Foundation.

We’ll be learning how to make some tasty treats with an emphasis on healthy eating in this mainly hands-on class. Please advise us of any food allergies your child might have. We will do our best to accommodate them.

Join us in the children’s learning garden to learn all about wriggly worms! We’ll also play some fun games, build a worm farm and do a craft. (If it rains, the program will be held indoors.)

Come and celebrate Pinkalicious, the girl who ate so many pink cupcakes that she turned pink! We’ll enjoy Pinkalicious stories, activities and crafts!

Digging for Dinosaurs with the Buffalo Museum of Science - Ages 4 - 8
Students play paleontologists as they examine the fossilized teeth, horns, and claws of various dinosaurs to learn about the unique adaptations of these ancient beasts! They’ll also dig up and assemble their own dinosaur skeleton as they venture into prehistoric times.

Hard Rock Café with the Buffalo Museum of Science - Ages 9 - 12
Museum educators will be at the library with cool rocks from their collections! Students will work in teams to identify rocks and how they form and learn about the rock cycle while exploring plate tectonics and earthquakes.
